A key aspect of Tindig Maralita is the facilitation of a series of consultations with informal settlers, informal vendors, informal transport workers, street-dwellers and homeless peoples on pandemic recovery agenda of the urban poor to ensure that recovery strategies will: (1) address their livelihood needs; (2) involve urban poor groups and informal worker associations in agenda-setting and planning processes; and (3) expand civic space and respect the civil and political rights of the urban poor.
Narratives and discussions from these consultations with grassroots partners will inform and ground the policy brief/s that will be drafted and thereafter, used by the grassroots partners for their lobbying and policy advocacy engagement.
